Pamela Rambo graduated September 1989 from the Art Institute of Dallas receiving an Associates Degree in Visual Communications. Shortly there after she started her career in the Printing Industry working for Printing Companies in there Design and Pre-Press Departments. She briefly stepped away from printing to work at Fegan Fine Art Restoration where she restored fine china and antiques. In 1991 she and her now husband moved to Portland, Oregon. Within a few months she landed herself a job at Dark Horse Comics. She started out stripping up the comics getting them ready for print. A year or so later they had an in house try-out for a colorist position. She has been coloring ever since.

In 1995 she left Dark Horse to pursue her freelance career and take care of her newborn. She started working for DC Comics and continued coloring for Dark Horse. Titles she has worked on are Vertigo’s award winners Preacher and Y, the Last Man, DC Comic’s Shadow of the Bat, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman and Dark Horse’s Star Wars Titles, Hellboy/Ghost and The Mask to name a few. She still continues her freelance career but is always looking for new ways to use her skills, learn new ones and ready to take any road it may lead her.

Pamela currently lives in Double Oak, Texas with her husband and two children. She enjoys spending time with her family, photography, gardening and roller derby.
